Rent a scooter and drive over to Pearl Harbour - just stay off the highway! The Dole plantation is one of the stops if you're driving around the island (in a car), it has a huge maze that's pretty challenging and pineapple ice cream is to die for. If you're going in the winter that's when some of the biggest swells usually come to the North Shore, and if Pipeline is going off it's truly something to watch, but watch from afar cuz that break is deadly. Literally.

I would recommend getting out of Honolulu and rent a car to drive around the island - it's so incredibly beautiful. Haunama (sp) Bay is fantastic for snorkeling

Kaena Point, most northern point on O'ahu., last intact dune ecosystem. A bit of a slog hiking but beautiful shoreline along the way. Monk seals, Laysan albatross. Read more about it and decide if you're interested.
