Hello, What are the safest yet reasonably priced airlines to use while in Italy and France? Leaving likely from Rome and Venice so far. Not sure if using the train is better, or the air - speed and price being a factor. Thanks so much.

air can be quicker, but when you factor in getting to and from the airport, time needed to go through security etc., sometimes the train is your better option, more leaving times and the cost is about the same - bonus is that you go from town center to town center so you are ready to be a tourist right away

Easy jet is reliable and about 36 € a lot faster.

We used EasyJet this past summer as well between those exact two countries and the prices were quite cheap.
From Nice to Rome we only paid €25 per person but be careful of the luggage fees!

I remember getting a one way trip from Milan to Paris for 36 euros from easy jet. But be aware of their carryon luggage restrictions. Good luck.
