Sarah
21 steps!
Gary
El Furniture Warehouse!
Lana
Great prices and huge selection. I love the eclectic atmosphere, too.
Andrea
Gary such great value
Julie
Terrible experience and terrible food when we went earlier this month. Was better before
Gary
Julie Like everything else that doesn't meet expectations in life now, let's blame COVID!
Ish
Gary didn't sound like anyone was blaming Covid.
Gary
Ish Well, it's been my experience when a business fails to meet basic expectations, they blame COVID. My wife tried to exchange an item without a receipt at Walmart recently (which they did pre-COVID), but they wouldn't because... COVID. It's not like having the receipt sanitizes the item being returned.
Julie
Gary No, I blame the restaurant and it's employees for this one. They didn't give a crap. I have never seen anything like it! Oh well.
Gary
Julie Yeah, come to think of it, Whistler is full of transient workers... so as employee turnover occurs, the dining experience would change as well. What was your bad experience?
Julie
You are right, the staff was too busy chatting with friend to care about serving food or seating people. Food was over salted. Oh well, Maybe it will get better again.
Danielle
Stones Edge! It's kind of tucked away behind another pub.
Look in to doing the Trainwreck walk/hike.
Heads up: Snow tires are required on all mountain roads starting Oct. 1 (yes, including Sea to Sky)
Maghan
Just came back. My top tip - if it's raining, take advantage and go ATVing! We booked through Whistler ATV. Also, Vallea Lumina in the night was really cool.
Eat at the Rimrock for a fancier dinner.
Diane
Maghan second this - it’s fabulous
Dani
Ate at the Teppan restaurant that leads into the Hilton (Whistler Teppanyaki), and also at the Indian restaurant on Main Street (Tandoori Grill). Both were great and both following safety protocols etc.
Jean-Fra
The Brewhouse for great burgers
, the Keg, Earl’s and if on a budget there is a resto , everything for $5.00. Can’t remember the name. Bring a mountain bike or rent one many many trails in the woods. If you are there on the weekend of the 8-9 it’s the usual turkey sale from shoes, boots to skis and winter wear sale 75% of.
Adventure in the village and bring an umbrella
have fun....

Neil
You’ll need to check much closer to the date to see what’s open this Fall.
Red Door always needs advance reservations.
Usually, October will have locals special deals running... that anyone can get. But this year isn’t normal... and staffing is problematic.
Andrea
I always try to stop at Creekbread wood fired pizza, open in the afternoons.
Amanda
We loved Il Caminetto when we visited last week for a fancier meal. 21 Steps was also good, and Crepe Montagne for breakfast
Morena
2nd Crepe Montagne for breakfast option there's also Element, both places are fairly close to each other. For happy hour check out Bear Bistro as they also have a nice option in their menu. there's always the Mexican Corner too for the best margaritas in Whistler village I've tried. Their menu changes often too so keep an eye on their website for any special fall options
