What are the best family-friendly activities in Victoria, B.C. for 11 year olds?

Question:

We haven't been to Victoria for a few years. Looking for family friendly travels with 11 year olds.
I am hoping to get some ideas for interesting adventures and of incredible sites to see, in and around, Victoria, B.C. and Albert Head Lagoon areas.
What is the most westerly point of Canada? Is it Sooke?
We've already been to or done the following:
1. Buchart Garden
2. Hiked Mt. Douglas
3. Wonderful beach/park (forgot the name) in Sooke
4. Small village of Metchosen
5. the Inner Harbour
6. Parliament building
7. Hatley Castle
8. Government House?
Thank you for your recommendations!

There are always lots of things going on in Vic. Right now there is Buskers Festival and Jazz Festival going on. Then there are lots of markets in the summer time that are fun.
Other than that I would recommend Flying Squirrel Victoria they just opened, willows beach and maybe grab a coffee / cupcake in estevan village before hand. There is also Craig X which is an indoor wall climbing place. Hope you'll have a great time

Race Rocks is the southern most point in Western Canada - the most westerly point in Canada is Tatshenshini-Alsek Provincial Park up in northern BC so might be a little out of the way.

If you are lucky you will also see wildlife along the way and you may even get to see some logging activity in Jordan River - there used to be a log sort and dump there and you could watch the little boats maneuvering the log bundles around in the water - don't know how much they are working these days

Definitely whale watching. There is also Adrenaline ZipLine on the way to Sooke that is world class. Next to 17 mile pub. High tea could be a fun experience but Empress is overrated. Craigdarroch castle is unique. Robert Bateman Center in inner Harbour is new. Royal BC Museum has new exhibits. Currently one about Terry Fox. Check out the CRD'S nature programs on their website. Goldstream park is also nice. I just saw a Groupon for a Scavenger Hunt in the city which sounds like fun.
Discoverthepast.com has really interesting walking tours.

You can rent kayaks at Oak Bay Marina. The water in the area is generally pretty calm and there are some nice spots to explore around there. Plus, there's a resident seal population you can often see from the docks.

If you can afford it chartering a boat and guide and catching a salmon or two can be a pretty special family experience. It should set you back around 500 plus tips for the boat and the salmon license is extra.
