I’ve picked up a rental from YVR the day before flight, dropped of at the airport the day of flight ..... cheap rental always available. Do the same on arrival back at YVR. Cheaper that paying costs at YVR Parking

I'm not sure you'll find free parking but the quality inn in Richmond offers a park and fly rate that is reasonable. They also offer you free drop off and pick up at YVR.

We have used the Coast hotel lots. One thing to be aware of is 24 hr shuttle. Not all offer that

Another thing to keep in mind - if you are gone longer than 4 weeks - even by a day - your car is considered storage and you don’t pay all the steep parking taxes. We go away for just over 4 weeks every year and we park at the park and fly - total cost around $150. If we were to go for 1 day shy of 4 weeks it would be closer to 400! Saying that I have never been able to find a hotel long term free parking here in Vancouver for over 2 weeks. But for shorter stays (as in under a month) jet set is usually cheaper. I would say paying for the parking would be cheaper than paying for a hotel for the night!
