Hi
My boyfriend and I are going on an Asia trip to Nha Trang and Japan for three weeks in December-January. Any recommendations for food/sight seeing/resorts would be much appreciated!! I’m also looking to book a private sunset dinner in Nha Trang on the beach for our 4th year anniversary if anyone knows a resort that does that.
Please let me know and thanks for your time +advice

I would honestly not spend 3 weeks here. Reminded me of Florida, and while that’s not bad there are many much nicer spots in Vietnam to see.

Beware for pickpockets. They are rampant there. Great place though

Japan: the smaller places are more interesting. My absolute favorite was Takayama and the surrounding Unesco places like Ogimachi. I also loved Nara and Fushini Inari. Do a day trip of Osaka from Kyoto. Lots to do in Kyoto and Tokyo. Get the rail pass. Its cheaper.

For japan I highly recommend tokyo and osaka. I felt kyoto could've been more fun for us (2 couples, all in our 20s). Although the temples were beautiful no doubt. Just wish we didn't spend 5 full nights there and instead spent more time in osaka.
As for vietnam beachy areas, I've never been. But I am planning to go at some point and I have my eyes on phu quoc for a beach destination.

How long are you going to nha trang for? I'm not sure if it's worth flying to vietnam just for it. I went to da nang recently and while it was nice, it wasnt as good as the caribbean. Da nang is all Korean tourists and Nha Trang is all russian tourists. Didnt get the Vietnam vibe that much. The good thing is that accommodation is cheap!
