Looking for baby-friendly recommendations for our first trip to Oahu, Hawaii. Any tips?

We recently returned from the North Shore Oahu! I would recommend these baby friendly must see experiences: Waimea Valley (waimeavalley.net) there's also a fabulous public beach across the street called Waimea Bay Beach Park and the Polynesian Cultural Center (polynesia.com). The Elephant Truck food truck has great thai food!

Costco 4 day Oahu Card, excellent deal!! We don't have kids but try the Steak Shack for a lunch time meal at the Waikiki Beach

Shirokiya Japan Village Walk located on the ground level of Ala Moana Centre. It is a massive Japanese food court with cheap eats and $1 beer!

Head to the north end/Turtle Bay area... way less busy and very family oriented. Try to visit Koaloa Ranch and the Dole Plantation

We spent half our time in Honolulu and half in North Shore. Honolulu is great for city life.. lots of food and things to do (shopping, zoo, aquarium, restaurants, museums) but the beaches in Waikiki (the main tourist area) are always packed and tiny compared to North Shore. North Shore is an awesome break from Honolulu and only about a 45min drive away. It's beautiful and peaceful with tons of uncrowded beaches (except for Waimea Beach) and yummy food trucks! Waimea Valley Falls is beautiful and has a stroller friendly trail to the falls since it's all paved. We just drove from Haleiwa all the way up to Turtle Bay Resort and made stops along the way. You'll see cars parked along the sides of the streets at the beaches and food truck areas.
