Absolutely Aruba, nicest beaches and best snorkeling. Look for a resort that is situated either on Palm Beach or Eagle Beach. You will not be disappointed. Was just there in November and it is absolutely the nicest place I have been.

Bermuda

Lori if it’s before April, it could be too cold at that time of year; best beaches by far, but the water is freezing. There are many winter storms coming down from Canada. I lived there for about 13 years so I know it’s sadly not always ideal

The Perfect Beach Getaway: Exploring the Caribbean Islands
With April just around the corner, the warm embrace of the sun and the gentle caress of the ocean breeze beckon for a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As you set out from Miami, a world of tropical paradises awaits, each offering its own unique blend of relaxation, natural beauty, and culinary delights.
St. Lucia: A Lush and Romantic Retreat
St. Lucia, often referred to as the "Helen of the West Indies," is a captivating choice for a beach vacation. This lush, volcanic island boasts the iconic Pitons, a pair of majestic peaks rising majestically from the azure waters. Imagine strolling along the soft, sandy beaches or indulging in a couples' massage at one of the luxurious resorts.
Beyond the picturesque landscapes, St. Lucia offers a rich cultural tapestry woven with French, British, and African influences. Savor the flavors of the island's cuisine, which seamlessly blends Caribbean spices with fresh seafood and local produce. Sip on a refreshing rum punch while watching the sunset paint the sky in brilliant hues of orange and pink.
Antigua: A Pristine Paradise
If you're seeking a more secluded and tranquil escape, consider the enchanting island of Antigua. This Caribbean gem is renowned for its 365 beaches, one for every day of the year. Imagine yourself lounging on the soft, powdery sands of Dickenson Bay or exploring the crystal-clear waters teeming with vibrant marine life.
Antigua's culinary scene is a feast for the senses, with an array of beachside restaurants serving up fresh, locally caught seafood and tropical cocktails. Immerse yourself in the laid-back island vibe and indulge in the island's rich history and culture, including the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Nelson's Dockyard, a beautifully preserved British naval base.
Jamaica: A Taste of Caribbean Rhythm
For those seeking a more lively and vibrant vacation, Jamaica is a captivating choice. This island nation is renowned for its stunning beaches, lush rainforests, and pulsating reggae rhythms. From the pristine shores of Negril to the bustling streets of Montego Bay, Jamaica offers a unique blend of relaxation and adventure.
Indulge in the island's renowned jerk cuisine, a flavor explosion of spices and smoky goodness. Sip on a refreshing Red Stripe beer or a potent rum cocktail as you sway to the infectious beat of reggae music. Jamaica's vibrant culture and warm hospitality will leave you with memories that will linger long after your sun-kissed vacation comes to an end.
No matter which island paradise you choose, the Caribbean promises an unforgettable beach vacation filled with natural beauty, culinary delights, and a chance to unwind and recharge your spirit. So, pack your bags, slip on your sandals, and get ready to embrace the laid-back island life that awaits you.

If you have 5 days to travel somewhere starting from Miami where would you go? Hubby and I are looking for a beach vacation in April. Somewhere relaxing and beautiful. With good food and drinks. Not staying in the US. We are thinking of places like St Lucia, or any of the surrounding islands. We don't want to go to Atlantis. Where should we go?
