Irene awesome, I’ll check it out!
Irene
If you have any questions, let me know. And if you decide to visit, try to put aside three or four days for this minuscule Caye that is right on the reef.

They just finished it, I am hosting a yoga retreat in February. Can't wait to see it. They are 400 m from the beach too!
Christin
Jamie that’s a flight to San Jose? How far from there, and best way to get?
Jamie
Yes you fly to San Jose and then it's about 4.5 hours by ground. There are a lot of options for transportation to Puerto Viejo. I am using this as a resource. My mom also has a driver that does shuttle service. I think it's $200 for 4 people? https://www.puertoviejosatellite.com/transport-to-puerto...
Christin
Jamie ok thanks for the information.

Antigua and Barbuda
Renowned for its pristine beaches, Antigua and Barbuda is a twin-island gem in the heart of the Caribbean. Antigua boasts 365 breathtaking beaches, one for every day of the year, while Barbuda offers a tranquil escape with its unspoiled natural beauty. Explore the vibrant coral reefs, relax on the pink and white sandy shores, and immerse yourself in the rich colonial history.
Jamaica
Jamaica is a melting pot of cultures, where you can experience the lively reggae rhythms, savor the flavorful jerk cuisine, and bask in the warmth of the locals' hospitality. From the majestic Blue Mountains to the cascading waterfalls, Jamaica's natural wonders will leave you in awe. Don't miss the opportunity to explore the lush rainforests and the world-famous beaches of Negril and Montego Bay.
U.S. Virgin Islands
Comprising the islands of St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix, the U.S. Virgin Islands offer a unique blend of American and Caribbean cultures. St. Thomas is famous for its duty-free shopping and lively nightlife, while St. John captivates visitors with its pristine national parks and secluded coves. St. Croix, on the other hand, boasts a rich history, stunning architecture, and the opportunity to dive into the vibrant local culture.
Aruba
Aruba, a Dutch Caribbean island, is a true paradise for beach lovers. With its year-round sunshine, turquoise waters, and stretches of white sandy beaches, it's a perfect destination for relaxation and water sports. Explore the rugged landscapes of Arikok National Park, indulge in the island's diverse culinary scene, and immerse yourself in the lively nightlife of Oranjestad.
