Personally, I would be heading to Belize - either Ambergris Caye (tourist spot) or Caye Caulker (slow paced and quiet). You will not beat the diving anywhere!
Rene
I will look at flights and see if I can find something reasonable. Slow and quiet sounds up my alley

Bonaire is supposed to be the absolute best diving. A great island!
Rene
Beth cant seem to find flights for Bonnaire. But I had also heard great things

Grand cayman is not terribly priced and has good diving. It depends what prices you’re looking for?

I live in Costa Rica. This is not a good time for scuba. It's the rainy season and we've had some major storms on both coasts. The water is turbid. And pretty rough. A lot of flooding here. I suggest you come here between December and May. The high season.

Thank you so much for the info!

Hello,
I've never gone on holidays at this time of the year but I missed out during my usual window.
I am looking to do 3 weeks of SCUBA diving. I wanted to go back to Curacao but cannot seem to find decent flights from Vancouver. I then reached out to a diving outfit in Costa Rica but they haven't returned any emails.
Would prefer the Airbnb solution so that most of my money can be spent on diving.
Any suggestions for this time of the year? I have my advanced diving PADI cert but haven't done it since COVID.
