Some Transat planes that fly through Canada will be much cheaper than westjet or air canada. It was around 375 round trip last month Vancouver to Toronto. I believe that deal was posted on here. Not sure if that new discount air line offers flights that you can use from Abbotsford , it flies smaller airports to other smaller airports

This is a great tool https://www.google.ca/flights for checking airfare and compare prices. Have u tried?

go to google.ca/flights and enter in your destinations. Open up the calendar and you can see prices of flights every day and month to get an idea of the best dates. It searches all airlines for you.

The cheapest flight I have found for March is 766 so is best just to keep waiting for the prices to go down or is that the average price for that time of year?

Flights will definitely drop, best prices are about 6 weeks before travel

Could try waiting. Flying in Canada has always been expensive. You could try going to united.com and see what they have for prices. They usually sell seats on air canada flights within Canada for cheaper than air Canada.

When to Find the Cheapest Flights from Vancouver to Toronto

If you're looking to save on airfare, you'll want to fly during the off-season. The cheapest month to fly from Vancouver to Toronto is January, with average fares around $250. You can also find good deals in February, March, and April.

Which Airline Has the Best Deals?

The best airline to fly with depends on your budget and travel preferences. If you're looking for the cheapest flights, Swoop and Flair Airlines typically have the lowest fares. However, these airlines may not offer as many amenities or as flexible flight options as other airlines.

If you're willing to pay a bit more, Air Canada and WestJet offer more comfortable seats, more legroom, and more amenities. They also have more frequent flights and more flexible flight options.

Tips for Finding Cheap Flights

Here are a few tips for finding cheap flights from Vancouver to Toronto:

* Book your flight in advance. The closer you get to your travel date, the more expensive flights will be.
* Be flexible with your travel dates. If you can fly on a weekday or during the off-season, you'll likely find cheaper fares.
* Compare prices from different airlines. Use a flight search engine like Google Flights or Kayak to compare prices from all the major airlines.
* Sign up for airline email alerts. Airlines often send out email alerts when they have sales or discounts.

By following these tips, you can save money on your next flight from Vancouver to Toronto.
