I've not had a problem with sunwing or air transat. Reviews are usually bad, people rarely enter good ones.

You have essentially 4 options. sunwing, air transat, air canada vacations or westjet vacations. Pick the cheapest. Ignore the reviews.

Barriere! I have family up there
. I was not particularly impressed with sunwing when I booked a group for a wedding. They are very particular with carry ons. Flight delays. Wouldn't seat us all together . . . They even split couples that booked together up. Even expedia has group discounts.

I'd recommend air transat. They did a great job organizing a large trip to Mexico for my family.

Two plus for westjet. You an book a 10 day pkg which we thought was great and no charge for luggage.

I recommend going down a little further south. So much nicer than cancun.

Saw a lot of crying moms and teenagers last year at the airport at spring break, felt terrible for them. I would choose anyone BUT sunwing!

I helped a friend recently book in Cancun area - We went to Google and dropped my little yellow friend on the blue path on different hotels to check them out when they found one they liked they did internet search for it and all the carriers that can book their came up. They picked the carrier they liked. Done ( make sure your transfers are included if not I have a number for 1 I have used)
