Darren
That’s a pretty general question! Costa Rica, Kauai, Walt Disney World, etc. All depends on what you want to do, budget, time of year, etc. Google my be a good start.
Ev
Disneyland? Although any location can be a great family vacation. I would take my kids to East or South Africa in a heartbeat.
Reese
I have a 1 year old and 5 year old. Never been any were before so unsure of places. We don't want to do Disney land as that's to much money.
Reese
Also for Dec 5th and want to try to stay at cheap as possible
Darren
Take them to Banff for the weekend. Lots to see/do and won’t waste money on flights, exchange rates, etc. Travelling anywhere further with a 1yo will be a struggle!
Teresa
Hotel Villa Mexicana, Zihuatanejo
Family friendly and beach front! Great little resort with planned activities for kids!
Lisa
Mexico has great deals for children. San Diego, just depends where u want to go, what u want to do, and budget.
Andrea
We went to Cabo Mexico it seemed very family friendly the kids had so much fun
Erin
Ages? We loved Costa Rica!
Reese
1 and 5
Erin
When kids are older definitely do CR!
Carole
At those ages, they dont really care as long as there's a pool!! They also wont remember an epic vacation so spend your pennies wisely! Mexico is reasonable given the CDN $ vs MXN peso.....
Erin
Carole true. Our youngest was near 6 on this trip. My sister had a 3 yr old.
Reese
We were going to go to Costa Rica but now we have the kids and wasn't sure if that was an appropriate place for a 1 year old
Erin
Reese personally I would wait. Unless you did just a resort there. We did more of an adventure trip there. And I think under age 6 might be bit tougher
Reese
That's what I was thinking, something we can stay on a resort by the ocean but I would love to find some of waterfalls and swim there to
Erin
Reese we stayed here and loved it!
Reese
That's beautiful!!!
Teresa
Erin do you have contact info for this place?
Erin
Teresa yes. I'll pm. We loved it!
Erin
Mexico also fun.
Depends on the type of holiday you are looking for
Wendy
Do a family oriented cruise.
Lori
Disney ... and if you want some "me" time do a Disney cruise. If your kids are tweens, Princess Cruises have fun teen clubs.
Sonia
Disney Aluani is amazing! (Oahu) and has a 30% offer on right now, Atlantis Bahamas, Disney world or land is a given soooooo fun BUT my favorite vacation is cruising with Carnival for a great less expensive trip AND kids get camp ocean, and cat in the hat experience. Depend on the ship they have AMAZING water parks, pools
, shows, minigolf, sports pled and even obstacle courses in the air! I can give you so much info on most of the ships and itineraries with carnival. P.S. I'm not an agent just LIVE to cruise and travel
Reese
I'm terrified to boats and open ocean also get horrendous motion sickness
Sonia
You'd be surprised with these ships. They have such amazing stabilizers in them you can hardly feel the sway. I highly recommend Hawaii and if you do Mexico stay on the Carribean side like Cancun, playa, Ixtapa and stay away from the Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo side. The water isn't clear, streets are rough. I saw above you were mentioning you wanted something cheaper.....what does your family like to do? And what's your budget/how many days? And do you all have your passports? Your kids are pretty young so makes it a bit more difficult but will totally help you find a great destination if you'd like
Sonia
We just got back from 10 days in Maui too. I do recommend Maui for more of a laid back trip
Kathy
Playa del carmen, Mexico
See
Randene St. Amour
Mexico to the sandos caracol
Jennifer
Mexico
Mayan riviera
We stayed at Bahia principe tulum
Get a hold of the Travel Angel, she’s great and can recommend a decent resort at a good price
Do the cenotes (we loved dos ojos) and do tulum
Akumal beach is great for snorkelling
I took my kids at 3 and 6 and we did zip lining and parasailing with them too!!
