Anyone travelled internationally with United lately? Any comments? TIA

Denver to narita on Boeing 787....was a united, I received excellent service..,plane was new and very comfortable...a little trick I learned...bring chocolates for the crew...I give 1-2 boxes to the crew after takeoff in the galley...kinda like thanking them before hand for the service....plus, you do get remembered and extra special attention. I once was offered a full wine bottle that they serve in first , a first class amenity kit, extra food etc........
. They have a difficult job and it shows your appreciation in a job that rarely gets any.

Archie no, many times before but not for some time. Love it there! We are actually beginning a cruise from Singapore, through the Suez to Rome. There are a lot of details: visas, pre and post cruise hotels, pre and post cruise activities, to say nothing of planning independent port tours. That's why I am at least trying to get the Singapore bit out of the way. And now til April will actually race by

Archie two cruises back to back 15 x 2: Singapore to Abu Dhabi to Rome . Celebrity Constellation - leave April 7....look it up on Vacations to Go......Yes, I think it will be amazing.

Caroline try fareboom.com they have good deals for April 2018. $481 one way to Singapore. I used them 3 weeks ago going to Philippines, I gave them 5 star.

I travelled to Lima via Houston and returned from Quito via Houston in Oct. Good flights with great service both ways. Next time, I will take Archie's advice and bring something for the crew.

Flew with United to Taipei this summer. Nothing but excellent service both ways!

Archie what are you talking about. air canada and westjet were just voted within the top 10 airlines in the world. air canada has changed by leaps and bounds, and is the the 4.5 out of 5 starred airline in the world. We have world class airlines. We are just more humble about as Canadians. Believe in what we have! Cause what we have is great!

David actually air canada has a 4 star rating , and westjet has a 3 star.all by skytrax .I guess AC is the best airline in NA , but look who their completion is
. In flight AC has been ok, nothing special. ground staff need more training and customer service skills. Asian and MEC carries are where NA carriers need to get some training from if they want to really compete on the world stage.. I have frown AC long haul many times and I couldn’t wait till the flight was over with a few exceptions. There is no right or wrong choice or right or wrong answer....it’s all a preference. People say gold is beautiful...I think it looks tacky. I’m glad AC and westjet has a fan in you...I’m not being condescending....have a great day sir.

Traveled 3 weeks ago from LAX to Haneda Japan. Very good service and smooth flight.

Would not hesitate at all to fly them again. They have come a long way in recent years!

I just travelled to Panamá via Huston and my butt still hurts. Leg room is horrible. Remind I’m 5’7 1/2
