What is your budget ? Affordable can mean so many things - like $/night you want to spend. There are a lot of good deals right now cause our tourism is trying to revamp the industry
Sam
About 150$ - 200$ per night
Jasmine
Sam depending on when you’re coming in July (Canada day long weekend and the last weekend leading up to august long ) will be more expensive but there are a lot of great places that you can find right now for your price range
- anywhere by English baby/Stanley park is great - the harbour front and just a little outside of DT but super accessible is kits or Main Street (has lots of food and cool places to check out )
Sam
Thanks for the info

Jasmine I got my son a room on Priceline for the Sheraton wall center for 104 per night. With taxes and fees in it was 149

What’s your budget? Consider looking into hotels in North Vancouver. You can catch the Seabus across the inlet to Vancouver (15 minute trip) and it’s only a 2 zone fare on public transit.
Sam
Matti about 150$ -200$ per night
Peter
Yes a really good idea. Stay near the Lonsdale quay. Easy access to the mountains for activities and seabus is fun.
Naz
We used Priceline for a staycation and managed the Marriott Pinnacle right downtown: free parking and pool for very cheap. Recommend Priceline.
Sam
Naz thanks for the info

The Sylvia, on English Bay in the West End offers suites with decent kitchen. Have had family & friends stay there several times, good value but not cheap.
All the more so these days, being able to handle most of your meals 'in house' is well worth it.
Walking into Downtown from there is between 15 - 20 minutes, depending on your pace. Good bus service as well, from the corner of Denman & Davie.

Bookings.com. You can search your area, price etc. I loved this little apartment ( a one bedroom with pull out couch)
