Parents who have travelled with kids to Europe, where do you recommend? Looking for specific cities/hotels. We have a week to burn and I don’t know what to do.

We've done Paris (Disney and the city) with kids as well as a few weeks in Italy. Both are super easy to navigate, have a ton of things to do and see and are family friendly. If I only had a week, I would focus on quality over quantity.

We are doing Paris for about 3 days as it is our transit hub. Do you have any particular place in Italy you would recommend?

Lauren That's a tough one as there is SO much to see. We love Rome, and Florence/Tuscany. They are as good as it gets when it comes to sites and activities. We even rented a car to cover Tuscany and it was relatively easy. Cinque Terre and the Amalfi Coast are beyond gorgeous, but I'd hit the others first with kids in tow. It depends what you guys to like to see/do.

Just a heads up that Rome is absolutely brutal when it comes to children friendly. At least in our experience with 1 year old twins.

Disney Paris is fun for 2 days. There is 2 parks. A lot smaller than usa disney's but some attractions are unique to Paris like the Ratatouille ride.

Janine We did 2 days and it was perfect. We did one in the main park and the second as a pass for going between both. But make sure to do the nighttime fireworks at least once! https://passportsandpigtails.com/.../disneyland-paris.../

This past summer we were in London, Ireland, Austria and Italy with 3 kids. We primarily did airbnb for accommodation.. kids all travelled really well. The trick was to pace our activity, snack breaks (gelato in Italy) and balance of history and 'fun' being realistic with how much we could pack in with them. Ireland was a favourite as it was easy to travel, no language barrier, people were friendly and it was beautiful.

Amsterdam is a really fun city. We took our 3 year old son and he loved riding bikes with us and visiting the windmills.
