I prefer actual cities and not resort destinations. We have really enjoyed Manzanillo, Mazatlan, Ixtapa (Zihua right next is an actual town). I like going to places where people live and work and take the bus, etc. It is also so much more interesting. A friend of ours loves Oaxaca but it is harder to get to from here.

Huatulco, hands down. We've been to the Mayan and to Puerto Vallarta as well , but we liked Huatulco the best.

Las brisas, but it's 8 years ago and the first time we did an all inclusive. Now we try to stay away from them!
