If you could plan a trip anywhere for between 7 & 21 days starting mid-February where would you go? Adult couple. Love deals but don't want to stay somewhere sketchy either.

Anywhere in Europe would be quieter at that time. Cheaper too

Australia is the best of everything.
Clean. Friendly. Mountains. Beaches. And Safe.
We loved our family trip there.
Lots of history too.

Toronto, you could spend the whole 21 days in the airport!

Jenel The Cookies are lovely people but February can be drab in the South Pacific. I lived in the Yasawas in Fiji for a couple of years. They were filming Cast Away nearby and look how dark that movie is. September is better.

Canadian Mountain Holidays Bugaboo Lodge. February is great heliskiing time, and you can spend the airfare on more vertical. And it is so close.

Thailand, because it’s beautiful, hot, great beaches, lovely people, our favourite food and reasonably priced. But not just for 7 days because it’s a very long trip.
Second choice is Zihuatanejo, Mexico.

Vietnam and Cambodia

Japan. February is great time if you ski but if that's not your thing Tokyo and the more southern cities aren't freezing cold and have SO much to offer.

Maui!

Italy. Great food, history, amazing beach and water. Lovely people. Just an overall wonderful experience. And easy to travel to other countries from there too.

Stephani can’t answer that as we went in September.

Stephani my favourite time in Italy was March….nice weather, fewer people! Europe in Feb/March is so much warmer than us here, I think it’s an ideal time!

Stephani I’ve travelled to Italy in December, February and August and each time had its benefits! A country in its “off season” is filled with amazing things to see and do, often without the long lines and crowds!

We've been to Prague and Budapest in November and December. Cooler for sure, but still amazing.

All the Italians thought I was crazy for wearing a sundress in February - it was sunny and 15! This Canadian loved it - and laughed at them in their parkas!

They are heavenly. I fell in love with the cities through their markets.

Europe.

Japan...we went in November and fell in love with the place.. spent 7 days in Japan and 3 in Hong Kong..

Playas del Coco, Costa Rica. We stayed at Pacifico Condos. Beautiful, relaxing, safe to walk to restaurants for supper. Car rentals are expensive, so if you just want to relax, you wouldn’t need one here. Groceries right outside the complex, and across the street. You could take a couple of tour, or rent a car for a couple of days and go beach hopping. Main roads are paved, but others are gravel, full of potholes, etc. So you have to be a good driver to go on those roads. I.e. one called The Monkey Trail. Small town, about a good 10+ minute walk to the beach. Try to get a direct flight to Liberia to avoid going through Toronto, now more than ever!

Roatan. Hands down.

Roc barlovento in varadero Cuba! Book through sunwing and get the roc plus for free! It’s an adults only resort and all the staff are fabulous! Also you don’t have to worry about safety in Cuba in any way even going off resort! Beatles bar and Havana club are great places to hit up and there’s a flea market around the corner as well as Kiki’s pizza which is great!

Progresso Mexico and Merida. Merida is lively and vibrant with fantastic food. Progresso and the little towns near by are great for a quiet beach holiday, very private. Lots of great airbnb options. Safe area.

Mediterranean cruise with a week before in Athens. We just came back and it is amazing!

Italy, Slovenia, Croatia. Affordable, easy to travel, great food, history and amazing sights. Different things to do depending on time of year.

Hotel Xcaret Arte (adults only)...if you can afford it.

Curacao!!! Amazing island. Great diving and snorkeling. Impeccable beaches with crystal clear blue waters. Kind people and great food!

We loved Bali.. The people were great, food was amazing . Stayed in Ubud, Seminyak, and Gili Islands. Simply amazing..

If I had 20 days to spend anywhere I’ve already visited, I would visit Italy or Bali again.
Italy for the culture, sightseeing, museums, lively cities and romantic towns, the food, cooking classes, allll the wine!
Bali for the culture, beaches, sightseeing, relaxation, slower pace, affordable price point, fun activities.
I hope whenever you decide, you have an amazing time!

Oh! And if I could go anywhere new, I’d go to Egypt!
I’d want to visit Cairo and Luxor and then do a nile cruise for a week. Pretty much for the same reasons listed above - culture, food, sightseeing, slower pace and relaxation!
