vbce I would say too. Credit cards charge 2.5% on the conversion rate; however, if u are buying anything important or like hotel/flights/car rental/electronics I would still pay the extra with the credit card due to insurance and zero liability policies

The only credit cards that don't charge a 2.5% foreign exchange fee are the Chase Amazon Visa, Chase Marriott Rewards Visa and the rogers mastercard that I can recall off the top of my head.

If u don't mind heading to states. Silver reed casino's rate is 0.71. Better than any exchange places here. It's off exit 260 on I5. Worth it if u r buying tons. And yes exchange is crap

Where to Find the Best Currency Exchange Rates

If you're planning to travel to the United States, you'll need to exchange your Canadian dollars for US dollars. But where can you find the best rates?

Airport Currency Exchange

The airport is often the most convenient place to exchange currency, but it's not always the best place to get the best rates. Airport currency exchange kiosks typically charge higher fees than other options.

Currency Exchangers in Vancouver

There are a number of currency exchangers in Vancouver that offer competitive rates. You can compare rates by visiting the websites of different exchangers or by calling them directly.

Using a VISA

If you have a VISA, you can use it to pay for goods and services in the United States. Your bank will automatically convert the Canadian dollar amount to US dollars at the current exchange rate.

Using a VISA is a convenient way to pay for things in the United States, but it's not always the cheapest option. Your bank may charge a foreign transaction fee, which can add to the cost of your purchase.

Which Option Is Best?

The best way to get the best currency exchange rate depends on your individual circumstances. If you're only exchanging a small amount of money, then using a VISA may be the most convenient option. However, if you're exchanging a large amount of money, then you may want to consider using a currency exchanger in Vancouver.
