Jet set parking is the best value. It will cost you about $160 for a month. Make sure that you book at least a week and a half in advance.

Is it feasible for you to take a cab? That's what we did when we were going for a month... way cheaper depending where you're coming from

We used park n fly for our two month trip. Worked out to less than $5/day. If you use a coupon make sure you keep it to ensure you get the coupon rate.

We live in Pt Moody. Sky train is “piece of cake” . Do you have a place to stay in lower mainland so you can skytrain?

There are several hotels in Richmond and South Vancouver that have a free shuttle and let you keep your car there for free. They may have limits for duration of stay. You'll have to do some googling.

Of course the cheapest option would be to simply park your car on a residential side street that does not have any parking restrictions. There are several near the langara 49th Canada line stain, and then just skytrain in. Although I understand people's hesitation to do this. Although I don't think it is really any more dangerous than a hotel parking lot.

Parking at hotels is usually for each night you stay get one week parking. For a 2 week vacation we would stay at the hotel the night prior to flying out and then the night we arrived back. This is only if they have a larger parking area

Leaving Your Car at Vancouver Airport for 6 Weeks

Going on an extended trip and need to leave your car at Vancouver Airport? Here are your options:

Parkade

The Vancouver Airport Parkade is the most convenient option, as it is located directly next to the terminals. It offers both short-term and long-term parking, with rates starting at $22 per day for short-term parking and $15 per day for long-term parking.

To book a parking spot in the Parkade, you can visit the Vancouver Airport website or call 604-276-6816.

Economy Lot

The Economy Lot is a cheaper option than the Parkade, but it is located further away from the terminals. It offers only long-term parking, with rates starting at $12 per day.

To book a parking spot in the Economy Lot, you can visit the Vancouver Airport website or call 604-276-6816.

Off-Airport Parking

There are a number of off-airport parking lots located near the Vancouver Airport. These lots offer lower rates than the airport-owned lots, but they are not as convenient.

To find an off-airport parking lot, you can search online or ask your airline for recommendations.

Which Option Is Best for You?

The best option for leaving your car at Vancouver Airport depends on your budget and how much convenience you want. If you are on a tight budget, the Economy Lot or an off-airport parking lot may be a good option. If you are willing to pay more for convenience, the Parkade is the best choice.

No matter which option you choose, be sure to book your parking spot in advance, especially if you are traveling during peak season.
