I was in Bali 2 yrs ago for all of October and it was great. Biggest Suggestion is to move around the island and stay in different areas if you are there for a few weeks. Hi
Bonnie
I heard oct is good but November rains a lot...
Jessica
Wet season. It will be hot and really humid as it is south of the equator
Alvin
I've been twice to Bali but only the first week and last week of October. It was hot both times and luckily didn't run into any rain.

I was there with my family. When we were about ready to leave for Hong Kong before returning back to Vancouver, my six years old son caught a very bad ear infection and he was grounded from flying because the ENT specialist thought his ear drums could burst as a result of change in air pressure. I made a decision to stay behind with my son and the rest of the family flew back to Hong Kong first. Lucky for me that I had a very good driver. He drove me around to find a new hotel where I could extend my stay for 3 more days, made arrangement with the hotel and the hospital so that I could bring my son can receive the appropriate treatment. I highly recommend his service if you intend to hire a driver in Bali. His rate is very reasonable as well.

The name of the driver is Nyoman. He speaks English

Hey Bonnie. I went to Indonesia for 3 weeks on Oct 31 last year. It certainly rained a few times but it was a lot of water over a very short period of time (pouring for an hour then it would stop). It didn't get in the way of any plans and honestly it was so hot I enjoyed it every time.
Sylvie
