On the kayak app you have the “explore the world option” you can enter your dates and they give you prices for anywhere on the map. Used it last spring and flew to Singapore for about $850 round trip!
Joe
better to fly into Bangkok and book flights there s a lot more flights from Bangkok and cheaper deals

Definitely do G Adventures or Intrepid Travel amazing tour operators you won't regret it, worth every penny without a doubt.
Ron
The sooner the better. Especially for accommodation

Hate flying into Manila and it’s a place where folks are prone to getting scammed. I used to live in Asia from Vancouver my standard direct flight to the area was either YVR to Hong Kong or SEA to Taipei. For flights within Asia book something like AirAsia or TigerAir from here (same prices from here), and you won’t be scammed. Just make sure your luggage meets the weight restrictions or pay for overweight in advance.
Avoid Manila.

Traveling to Asia: Tips and Recommendations
Planning a trip to Asia can be an exciting adventure, especially when visiting popular destinations like Bali, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines. If you're considering flying into the Philippines first and booking all travel from there, here are some things to consider:
Pros of Flying into the Philippines First:
- Potential cost savings on flights and accommodations
- Opportunity to explore the beautiful islands of the Philippines
- Easier access to budget airlines for travel within Asia
Places to Stay:
When visiting Bali, Singapore, and Thailand, there are plenty of accommodation options to choose from. In Bali, consider staying in a beachfront villa or a boutique hotel in Ubud. In Singapore, explore the vibrant neighborhoods like Chinatown or Clarke Quay for a unique stay. In Thailand, you can opt for luxury resorts in Phuket or budget-friendly hostels in Bangkok.
Booking Travel and Accommodations:
It's recommended to book your flights and accommodations at least 3-6 months in advance, especially if you're traveling during peak season like August. This will ensure availability and potentially lower prices. Consider using online travel platforms like Expedia or Booking.com for convenient bookings.
Final Thoughts:
Ultimately, flying into the Philippines first and booking travel from there can be a cost-effective option, but it's essential to weigh the pros and cons based on your travel preferences and budget. Researching and planning ahead will help you make the most of your trip to Asia.
Safe travels and enjoy your trip!
